Overview

This website is operated by Ink & Ivory Veils, a sole proprietorship based in San Francisco, California ("Ink & Ivory," "we," "us," or "our"). By visiting inkandivoryveils.com or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

Our products

Ink & Ivory veils are sourced from carefully selected partners and are personally inspected and curated by Ink & Ivory before they reach you. As with all fine tulle and lace goods, minor variations in lace placement, embellishment, and finish are natural and are part of what makes each veil unique. These variations are not defects. Ink & Ivory is your point of contact for all orders and support.

Color: Ivory, white, and off-white tones may render differently on different screens. The veil you receive may differ slightly in tone from what your device displays.

Measurements: Stated lengths and widths are approximate; finished pieces may vary by up to two inches, which is standard for fine tulle and lace goods.

Care: Care instructions are provided with your veil. We are not responsible for damage resulting from washing, ironing, steaming at close range, or other handling contrary to those instructions.

Orders, pricing, and availability

All prices are in U.S. dollars and may change without notice. We may limit or cancel quantities at our discretion. If a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to a typographical or system error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full. An order confirmation does not constitute acceptance of an order; we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, with a full refund, up until shipment.

Shipping

Estimated production and delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Once a package is transferred to the carrier, delivery is subject to the carrier's handling, and risk of loss passes to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us promptly and we will work with you and the carrier in good faith to resolve it. Rush Order processing moves your veil to the front of our production queue but does not guarantee a specific delivery date.

Returns

Returns are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Intellectual property

All content on this site, including product names, designs, photography, and text, is owned by or licensed to Ink & Ivory and may not be reproduced or used commercially without our written permission.

Your conduct

You agree not to use this site for any unlawful purpose, to infringe others' rights, to transmit malicious code, or to interfere with the operation or security of the site.

Disclaimer of warranties

THIS SITE AND ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INK & IVORY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INK & IVORY AND ITS OWNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THIS SITE OR ANY PRODUCT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU; IN THAT CASE OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Because a wedding is a one-time event, we strongly encourage ordering with generous lead time. Ink & Ivory is not responsible for costs arising from event dates, including replacement rentals, alterations by third parties, or other event-related expenses.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ink & Ivory and its owners from any claim arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.

Dispute resolution

If you have a concern, please email us first at inkandivoryveils@gmail.com; most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis in California under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and you waive any right to participate in a class action, to the extent permitted by law. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Severability and changes

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. We may update these Terms from time to time; the version posted on this page applies to your use of the site.
